AustinHOLDENSadly, at Scunthorpe General Hospital, Austin passed away on 25th September 2025 aged 83 years.
Much loved dad of Kirstie and Claire,
father in law of Steve and Chris,
grandad of Archie, Lily, Libby and Maisy.
Austin was a well respected friend to many and he will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.
Would family and friends please meet at
Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe
on Friday 17th October 2025 at 12noon.
Family flowers only please, but donations in his memory will be collected for
Lincolnshire & Lindsey Blind Society
and these can be left following the service or sent c/o the address shown below

Sorry to hear the news , condolences to all the family. I had the pleasure of an outing with Alkborough School when I worked at Humberside C C. We had a whale of a time.. Austin was a kind considerate man.

I'm so sorry to hear about Austin's passing. I spoke to him regularly, for a few years, as a befriender through Age Concern and looked forward to our chats. He was always bright and cheerful and we always found something to while away the hour, be it reminiscing, or talking about current affairs, or just every day things in general.

Best wishes to his family and I know I'll miss our little chats.
